About Tiffany Clitheroe
Art has woven itself through my life from the moment I opened my eyes to this world.
I was taught to see the shadows dance with the light and how to speak in colours thanks to my artist mother.
For me, art is an unspoken language expressing what exists in-between and can’t be said.
The subjects I incorporate into my work are the creatures of the natural world above and below the surface. The things I am always drawn to and find infinite inspiration from.
I like to be diverse with my work, creating intricate dot works with hours of detail, then contrast it with big scale public pieces.
Collaboration with other artists and creatives is something I am open to.
Exchanging ideas and learning from other's insights can only enrich the experience and output of one’s own creative process.
My hope is that my work can act as a mirror and reflect the forgotten beauty back to you. To spark the childish wonder, so you remember to marvel at this complex, unfathomable and deeply beautiful world we live in.
When life becomes dark, I hope what you see will evoke the space that helps you forget the struggle, just for a moment....... then it has fulfilled its purpose.
